VALERYD X-Tech brake shoes are developed with our unique X-Tech technology, which sets them apart from traditional brake shoe manufacturing. The friction material is pressed onto the brake shoe under extremely high pressure and heat, penetrating the
X-shaped recesses in the steel. This creates a strong bond between the lining and the shoe, providing superior adhesion and long-lasting durability even under demanding conditions and high temperatures.

For brake shoes with a movable shoe rail for the brake automation, aluminum paste is applied to the contact surfaces. This ensures smooth rail movement without sticking or seizing over time, guaranteeing proper operation of the brake automation during reverse braking.

ECE R90 – Guaranteed Safety and Performance

VALERYD X-Tech brake shoes comply with ECE R90, a European quality standard that ensures the brake parts offer the same performance, durability, and safety as original equipment. Each product is tested both in the laboratory and on the road to meet requirements for braking efficiency, heat resistance, and stability during repeated braking.

Lifetime Guarantee with X-Tech

Thanks to X-Tech technology, we offer a lifetime guarantee that the brake linings will not separate from the brake shoe. Should this occur, VALERYD will replace the brake shoes. Please note that the guarantee does not cover normal wear and tear.
